How to cancel Amazon Prime
Amazon Prime renews automatically every month or year. You can end the membership at any time from Your Account, and Amazon will tell you the date your benefits stop.
Prime is billed monthly or annually, and free trials roll straight into a paid membership unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Cancel on the Amazon website
- 1Sign in at amazon.co.uk and open Account & Lists.
- 2Select Prime, or go to Your Account then Prime Membership.
- 3Choose Manage membership, then End membership.
- 4Work through the confirmation screens until you see that the membership will not renew.
Cancel in the Amazon Shopping app
- 1Open the app and tap the menu (three lines).
- 2Tap Account, then Manage Prime membership.
- 3Tap End membership and confirm.
If you subscribed through a third party
- 1Prime bought through a mobile carrier or an app store is cancelled with that provider, not with Amazon.
- 2Check the confirmation email to see who took the payment.
